WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - There's been a breakthrough in the stalled investigation of the downed Malaysian jetliner, which claimed nearly 300 lives.

This comes just hours after President Obama and other world leaders pressed Russia to resolve the deadlock with the rebels in Ukraine, who control the debris field.

Mark Albert is at the White House with the latest.
