Apple Festival in Bangor

BANGOR, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) The town of Bangor is celebrating this years incredible apple crop at its 35th annual Apple Festival.
The Apple Festival runs all day Saturday, October 5th.
It features a variety of family-friendly events, including apple-bobbing, apple-picking and lawnmower races.

Bangor High School Homecoming Parade, 5 PM, Downtown
Bangor High School Homecoming Game, 7 PM, High School
Bangor American Legion Post #160 Fish Fry, 5-8 PM, American Legion Post on Center St. Proceeds to childrens Christmas party.
Saturday, October 5th:
Vendor Setup, 6-8 AM, Registration by Charles Park (caboose) $25 for 10 x 10 space, non-profits are free
Antique Car Setup & Registration, 6-9 AM, Downtown at former Ely Hardware; East & West ends of Monroe St., Railroad Street, $10 entry fee
Pancake Breakfast, 8 11 AM, First Congregational Church, 125 Charles Street
Apple Breakfast Buffet, 8 AM 1 PM, Bangor Tavern
5K Run, 9:30 AM, Railroad Station. Fun Run, 9:45 AM, Railroad Station. Facilitated by Simpson United Methodist Church, proceeds to We Care in the Name of Christ. $20 entry fee.
Bangor Historical Society Museum, open 9 AM 12 Noon, former Ely Hardware building.
23rd Annual Antique & Classic Car Show, 9 AM to 2 PM, Monroe Street, East and West ends. Sponsored by Bangor Lions Club & McFadden Friendly Motors. Announce Car Show winners, trophies 2:30 3PM, Stage area.
