Left lane driving crackdown begins this week
LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan State Police are set to begin a crackdown on drivers who hog the left lane.
Troopers say the left lane of any Michigan State highway is only for passing.
MSP said the law is meant to keep people safe.
Anyone who gets caught cruising in the left lane could get a ticket or points on their license.
The left lane crackdown officially starts Wednesday, March 1.
