GM announces plan to add 500 jobs back to Delta Twp. plant, 180 in Flint
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Some 700 recently laid-off General Motors workers will soon have their jobs back.
The automaker cut more than 1,000 jobs last month.
But right before the president's visit to the east side of the state Wednesday, the company announced it will be adding 500 jobs back to the Lansing Delta Township plant in the next year.
And another 180 jobs are being created at a nearby plant in Flint for laid-off GM workers from Lansing.
