Underground explosion in Taiwan

TAIWAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - At least 25 people have been killed and nearly 270 injured when several underground gas explosions ripped through Taiwan's second-largest city Friday.

Authorities say another three people are missing.

People and cars were thrown three to four stories into the air by the blasts.

The five explosions struck an area of the city where petrochemical companies operate pipelines alongside the sewer system.
