ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three Albuquerque teenagers are in custody Monday morning after police say they ganged up and beat to death two homeless men.
The 18, 16 and 15-year-old boys are currently in county detention facilities.
Police say the teens admitted to beating the victims with their hands, feet, bricks, sticks and a metal pole.
They then left the men's bodies in a field nearly unrecognizable.
The three suspects were found at a home nearby.
Police say the 18-year-old has been charged with multiple counts including two for murder and the younger boys will likely be charged with murder as adults.
