Study: Spiders grow bigger in big cities

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Summer in the city just got creepier.

Australian researchers have found that spiders tend to grow bigger in big cities.

Texas biologists say the heat from the concrete leads to warmer temperatures that make spiders grow larger.

These creepy crawlers also have more to eat in big cities, and less eating them.
