SOUTH KOREA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Tuesday morning six students are testifying about their experience on board the sinking Sewol Ferry in South Korea.
They say even as the cabins filled with water they were repeatedly ordered by loudspeaker to stay where they were.
Instead, the girls say they grabbed their vests in the final moments and swam out of the ship.
15 ferry crew members are now facing charges of negligence. More than 300 people died or are missing, mostly students because of the April tragedy.
