Student faces jail time after police say they hacked into school computer to change grades
TEXAS (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A high school student in Texas is facing jail time police say for hacking into the school computer system to change grades.
The school district says a stolen password was used to access the system.
The sophomore is also accused of offering to change other students' grades for a fee.
At least one student took the offer.
That student is charged with breaching computer security, which is a felony in Texas.
