Report: Some credit card rewards holders never redeem rewards
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new survey shows many Americans don't end up using their credit card rewards.
The Bankrate.com report says that over 30 percent of cardholders have never redeemed their credit card reward points.
Analysts say reward points don't gain value over time, and that you should cash them in regularly to take advantage of rewards like cash back or airline tickets.
The report also said that credit card holders with rewards tend to either not use the card rewards or redeem them frequently.
