Man in Maine hides 12 cameras in rented vacation home
YORK, Maine (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An early September vacation turned into a nightmare for group of New Englanders renting a home in Maine.
Police in the city of York say four video cameras disguised as air fresheners were found in four bathrooms throughout the home.
The man responsible was allegedly staying with the group.
Police say he not only illegally recorded 12 adults and three children over a span of four days, but that he also recorded himself.
"He turned it on, set it up, you could see him setting it up and walking away and looking at it," said Detective Matthew Calcina, with the York Police Department.
Police say he's been charged with a violation of privacy.
