Flooding continues to wreak havoc in Peru after more heavy rain
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Overflowing rivers continue to wreak havoc in Peru after heavy rainstorms hit Sunday.
Residents are lining up for drinking water, as clogged water treatment systems put restrictions on running water.
The government has deployed the armed forces to help keep order in the 811 cities that have declared an emergency.
So far, 75 people have died and more than 100,000 are left homeless.
