Young girl bitten by Doberman in Hastings

HASTINGS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Hastings responded to a call for a dog bite last week.

It happened on July 28th around 5:30pm in the 100 block of Woodlawn Ave.

The 10-year-old girl had left the Bob King Park and was riding her bike on Woodlawn when a Doberman ran up to her and bit her on the right side.

The dog's owner admitted that the dog had not been confined. The next day the owner was issued a citation for having a dangerous dog running at large.
