Woman robbed at gunpoint at ATM, suspects still on the run
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Battle Creek Police are looking for two suspects they said robbed a woman at an ATM at gunpoint.
It happened at the Omni Credit Union on Roosevelt Avenue around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night.
The victim told police she drove up to the ATM when two men pointed guns at her and forced her to withdraw money. The suspects then got into the victim's vehicle and forced her to drop them off near Hubert Street where they got out of the vehicle and took off running.
Police said a K-9 tracked the suspects to an apartment building on Redner Avenue. The K-9 did find some clothing worn by the suspects, but right now, they're still on the run.
The suspects are both described as black males. The first is approximately 6', 2" tall with a medium build. The second is described as shorter and heavier than the first suspect.
Police are still investigating.
