Woman accused of stabbing man in Battle Creek
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Battle Creek woman is waking up in jail accused of stabbing a man in the leg who was fighting with her boyfriend.
It happened around 3:00 Thursday afternoon on Truth Drive near Hubbard Street.
Police say a pocket knife fell out of the victim's pocket while he was fighting with the suspect's boyfriend.
They say the woman picked it up and stabbed the 24-year old in the lower leg.
He is expected to be okay.
The woman was arrested and is facing charges for felonious assault.
