HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - It was a day full of family fun, all for a good cause, at the West Michigan Regional Airport in Holland.
Adults could take a ride in a helicopter or a jet for a donation. Kids could ride the airplanes for free.
There were also a variety of planes and vintage cars on display, for the Wings of Mercy Holland CareAffaire fundraiser.
Wings of Mercy is a faith-based non-profit organization that works to connect volunteer pilots with low-income patients who need transportation to distant medical facilities.
Wings of Mercy pilots have flown more than 850 flights from the airport.
