Western Michigan University is closing down at noon, adding to dozens of snow closures
Western Michigan University has joined the list of schools, businesses, churches and other organizations and agencies that are closed Friday due to the weather.
However, performances at Miller Auditorium will proceed, the university reported. So anyone with "Sound of Music" tickets for Friday evening still has plans.
"Because we host touring productions with large casts and crews traveling across the country, Miller Auditorium rarely closes for inclement weather," said a spokeswoman for the university's marketing department. "If there are any performance changes due to weather, they will be communicated on our website and on Miller Auditorium's Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts."
The university ticket office is open, she said, and can be reached at 269-387-2300 for those who have additional questions.
