W. Mich. school closing its doors

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan school has announced that it will be closing its doors.

The Board of Directors at Freedom Christian Schools in Hudsonville says the school is closing for the upcoming school year.

They say low enrollment, projected for the fall, would not provide enough funding to finish the year.

The school was founded in 1981.

It offered K-through-12 education, including a unique home and school partnership program.
