W. Mich. man sentenced after wire fraud conviction

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A West Michigan man has been sentenced after the Department of Justice says he swindled long-time friends in a phony real estate deal.

54-year-old Roger Andrews, of Coopersville, was convicted of wire fraud.

Andrews was sentenced to more than 7 years in federal prison, and ordered to pay almost $3 million in fines and compensation to his victims.
