Van Buren Co. deputies looking for man who robbed South Haven convenience store


SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man who put a gun to the forehead of a convenience store clerk and robbed the store is still on the loose.

Sheriff Dan Abbott said the man robbed the Phoenix Quick Stop on County Road 687 outside of South Haven, just before 9:00 a.m. Friday morning.

This is the man the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office is looking for.

The store clerk said he took off south down County Road 687 in a black Chevy Impala.

Deputies said it has a damaged right front end, tinted windows, and Michigan plates.
