Van Buren and Cass County drug teams arrest one in meth bust
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNNEL 3) - Van Buren County Narcotics Unit and the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team made a major drug bust that resulted in one arrest.
Detectives from CDET and the Narcotics Unit entered a house in the 56000 block of 89th Ave. at around 9:30 a.m. Wed. on a search warrant that was obtained through the two departments investigation of possible illegal drug activity.
Detectives said they found the items used to consume meth, a digital scale and marijuana.
Tomas Mosier Jr. was arrested on a parole violation and taken to the Cass County Jail.
Three other people were not arrested, but detectives are seeking charges against a 37-year-old Decatur woman, a 34-year-old Dowagiac woman and a 47-year-old Dowagiac man for possession of Methamphetamine.
