      Update: 10 home break-ins in one day

      CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Kent County Sheriff's Department is investigating a string of home break-ins in Caledonia Township that happened Wednesday.

      The break-ins happened during the day (between 7am-5pm). The suspects pried open doors or came through unlocked windows.

      In each incident a small amount of cash was taken.

      The break-ins happened at:

      • 6333 76th St SE
      • 7667 84th St SE
      • 9082 84th St SE
      • 8266 Whitneyville Ave SE
      • 6667 68th St SE
      • 7580 68th St SE
      • 8141 84th St SE
      • 7327 68th St SE
      • 7009 68th St SE
      • 7021 68th St SE

      Investigators say they have a possible suspect description of a while male, approximately 30-year-old, 5'6", weighing about 150 pounds with a stocky build. He has reddish brown hair and a scruffy bear. He was driving a newer black 4-door car.

      Also, on 8/15 around 6:00am a black male wearing light blue pants and an animal print jacket entered a home in the area of Hanna Lake and 100th St. SE through an unlocked garage door and stole a purse.
