Health experts blame the unpredictable fluctuation in temperatures throughout the spring season for making allergies last longer this year.

Fifty million Americans suffer from itchy eyes, sneezing and coughing of seasonal allergies.

Experts say over the counter medications and other treatments can provide relief. They also say allergy nose sprays work better than the pill form.

Doctors suggest changing your clothes if you have been outside, taking a shower before bed and keeping your windows and doors closed in the morning to help keep pollen out of your house.
