Two remain in critical condition after head-on crash in Allegan County; MSP investigating

Two men in their 50s, drivers in separate cars, remain hospitalized in critical condition following a head-on collision on Lincoln Road in Allegan County.

The crash, still under investigation by the Michigan State Police, occurred about 3:30 p.m. Monday near the Lincoln Road intersection with 134th Avenue.

A 59-year-old male from Hamilton was driving north when he swerved to avoid a car that pulled out in front of him. He crossed the center turn lane into the southbound lane and collided with a vehicle traveling southbound. The southbound vehicle was driven by a 56-year old man from Allegan.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Assisting the Michigan State Police were the Hamilton Fire Department, Holland AMR, and Air Care.
