Thousands without power across West Michigan
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Strong winds knock out power to thousands of families in West Michigan and beyond Tuesday morning.
Consumers Energy says they have been monitoring the weather situation and are dispatching crews to repair downed lines across our area.
At last check, the outages reported by Consumers Energy and Indiana Michigan Power included:
Kalamazoo - 2,592 customers
Van Buren - 417 customers
Allegan - 1,159 customers
Barry - 708 customers
Ottawa - 1,080 customers
Kent - 3,948 customers
Ionia - 204 customers
Branch - 33 customers
St. Joseph - 5 customers
Calhoun - 0 customers
