Suspected drugged driver arrested in Van Buren Co.
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies in Van Buren County have arrested a suspected drugged driver.
It happened Thursday around 3:30 in Bangor.
Police say they received three separate calls from drivers reporting someone who was driving dangerously and possibly under the influence.
A deputy located the woman and stopped her on Monroe Street near Walnut. The deputy said that the woman was acting strangely, but was not under the influence of alcohol. A drug recognition expert was brought in and he determined that she was under a mixture of prescription pills. She was arrested for drugged driving.
Investigators say that a variety of prescription pills were found in the vehicle.
