Suspect in Grand Rapids bank robbery arraigned
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Grand Rapids Police have identified the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Monday.
22-year-old David Thomas Saunders was arraigned in district court Wednesday on a bank robbery charge.
Police say Saunders passed a note to a teller at a Lake Michigan Credit Union location, attached to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, which mentioned he had a weapon.
He then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Saunders was given a $250,000 cash or surety bond.
