South Haven doctor suspended after SWET raid
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. —
A South Haven doctor is suspended until further notice while West Michigan drug detectives investigate his office.
Michigan State Police confirm that the office of Dr. Matthew Small was raided by the South West Enforcement Team (SWET) at the Bronson South Haven Family Medicine on Thursday morning.
Newschannel 3 is still working to find out what they were looking for and what evidence was taken, but no one was arrested at this time.
Bronson Healthcare released a statement:
Bronson South Haven Family Medicine, located at 965 S. Bailey Ave., has been fully cooperating with this investigation since the arrival of law enforcement this morning. Dr. Small has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. The practice will be open tomorrow.
