Sen. Margaret O'Brien introduces legislation to name part of I-94 after Ed Switalski
LANSING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Senator Margaret O'Brien, of Portage, introduced new legislation today, that would name a stretch of I-94 after fallen Comstock Fire Chief Ed Switalski.
The bill would name the span between exits 80 and 86 after him.
Chief Switalski was killed in the line of duty on June 14, when he was struck by a vehicle while responding to a crash there.
Switalski's wife, Holly, says the family feels "honored."
