Search for suspects continues in shooting near WMU

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - So far we have no word of any arrests, as police investigate a shooting that injured four people in Kalamazoo.

"Heard about 12-15 gunshots. It was like a 'bang bang bang,'" said one witness. "People were screaming call the police, people are hurt, people got shot!"

Three men and a woman in their 20s were shot early Sunday at the Campus Habitat Apartments near Western Michigan University.

Police say the injuries are not life threatening and the people aren't Western students.

Police haven't released any suspect information. KDPS is asking anyone with information about the shooting to give them a call.
