It happened in the area of Dickman and Helmer Road early Thursday morning.
Calhoun County deputies said they were called out around 4:40 a.m. for a report of a gunshot victim at the BP Gas Station on Dickman road. They found the incident actually happened earlier, at Avenue A near Sundown Street in front of the school.
