Residents calling for police chief to be fired

BARRY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Residents in Barry Township are calling on local officials to fire Police Chief Victor Pierce for what they say is overly aggressive policing.

The township board has moved the regular meeting Monday night to the high school auditorium because they're expecting a huge attendance.

A little over a week ago the board voted to cut all 34 reserve police officers.
