Prelim hearing scheduled for suspect in Allegan Co. murder
ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday in Allegan COunty for a West Michigan teenager facing murder charges.
15-year-old Joshua Keyzer will be tried as an adult.
State Police say on June 25, he fatally stabbed his 21-year-old cousin Kassandra Keyzer and then attempted to kill his grandmother, 67-year-old Sharon Keyzer, at her home in Wayland Township.
Wednesday, a judge is expected to decide if there is enough evidence to send Joshua to trial.
Police are still working to determine a motive.
