Police investigate after two students claim to be struck by substitute teacher
KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating after a substitute teacher reportedly hit two students at a local middle school.
A letter was sent to parents of students at Maple Street Middle School for the Arts on Tuesday that stated a substitute teacher has been removed.
The human resources department of the school is performing an investigation as well.
The students reportedly were not injured and spent the rest of the day in their classes.
