One suspect sentenced in GR businessman's death
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - One of two people charged in connection with the murder of a West Michigan businessman has been sentenced.
Dijana Kilic and Danyell Thomas are accused of killing 56-year-old John Dahlinger during an attempted robbery at his Grand Rapids home last October.
An autopsy revealed he was beaten and shot in the head.
Kilic was sentenced Tuesday to 364 days in jail with credit for 301 served.
She's charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Thomas is charged with five felonies, including homicide and open murder.
