Michigan DHS to study 'Pathways to Potential' program
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Michigan Department of Human Services is partnering with a West Michigan university to study a program that provides assistance to students and their families.
The Pathways to Potential program puts case workers in nearly 170 schools across the state to provide better access to services.
Thursday, DHS announced a $1 million grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to examine how well the program is working.
Pathways to Potential currently operates in several West Michigan counties, including Kalamazoo, Newaygo, and Muskegon.
