Man sentenced in fatal crash
PAW PAW, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man who hit and killed a woman in Van Buren County while driving with a suspended license will spend the next 4 to 15 years in prison.
39-year-old Donald Weaver, of Paw Paw, crashed his minivan into a motorcycle ridden by Mary Jo Jendershot, and her fiance, Kevin Rocheleau last September.
Hendershot died in the crash, and her fiance was critically injured.
Weaver pleaded guilty in July to driving on a suspended license causing death.
On Monday, he was sentenced for the crime.
According to deputies, Weaver's license had been suspended multiple times.
