BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Crews rescued a man from nearly drowning in the Muskegon River.
Big Rapids police say just after midnight Thursday an officer found the 59-year-old face down in the water about 10 to 15 feet from the dirt embankment.
The officer jumped into the water and pulled the man to shore.
He was then taken to Spectrum Health in Big Rapids where they were able to get a pulse.
There is no word on the man's condition at this time.
