KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police have arrested a 22-year-old man after they were called out to the Evergreen South Apartments in Oshtemo Township three times for reported robberies.

The first caller said that they had come to the area to sell some video game equipment that they had posted for sale online. They told police that they had been approached by a subject who had robbed them of their property and implied that he had a gun.

Police say they got two similar calls within the next hours, with a similar description of the suspect and what had occurred. A handgun was seen by one of the victims during the robberies.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was able to quickly establish a suspect in one of the apartments, a search was conducted and stolen items were recovered.

The suspect, a 22-year-old male, was arrested and is being lodged in the jail on unrelated warrants. Police are seeking charges for Friday’s robberies.
