Kalamazoo's Urban Growth Initiative to be presented at city meeting
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kalamazoo city leaders will meet Thursday to discuss future projects in the downtown area.
The Brownfield Redevelopment Authority will meet for their board of director's meeting.
They will discuss a number of items, including presenting the Urban Growth Initiative for downtown Kalamazoo.
The plan includes ways to improve downtown, through new businesses, affordable housing and making downtown more accessible to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. You can review the plan here.
The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. at Kalamazoo City Hall.
