Jeep rams a Speedway on River Street then drives off; police seeking car and driver
COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. —
It was 5 a.m. Tuesday when a white Jeep drove onto the lot at the Speedway gas station on River Street in Comstock Township, Michigan. But the driver didn't stop.
The Jeep drove right into the building, and then drove away.
Michigan State Police reported Tuesday that the driver is described as a light-skinned black male, believed to be in his 20s, with dreadlocks, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing Chicago Bulls sweatpants. A passenger in the vehicle is described as a clean shaven white male wearing a Bob Marley T-shirt and jeans, also believed to be in his 20s.
The vehicle was a newer model white Jeep, possibly a Grand Cherokee, with a Michigan tag of DVZ1085. The Jeep was later seen at the intersection of Lake and Portage streets in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Troopers are asking that anyone with information in the identity or location of the driver or the passenger contact Trooper Knaup at the state police Paw Paw post, 269-657-5551.
