Interview: West Mich. native pens true crime novel

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In 1969, 22-year-old Holland native Betsy Aardsma was stabbed to death in Penn State University's Pattee Library.

More than 40 years later, her murder remains unsolved -- with her killer still at large.

Former investigative reporter David DeKok -- himself a Holland native -- wrote a book about this unsolved murder.

He discussed Aardsma's life, her suspected killer and the process of writing the book.
