      Interview: Michigan Parkinson Foundation Walk-a-Thon

      (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Parkinson's disease can strike people of all ages. It's the second-most common degenerative neurological disorder. More than 30,000 people in in Michigan are afflicted.

      Saturday, hundreds will walk for a purpose in the Michigan Parkinson Foundation Walk-a-Thon.

      Organizers Karen Freshwater and Tiffany Hansard spoke about the fundraiser, at the Portage Senior Center.
