Indiana mother headed to trial after high-speed chase
CENTREVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An Indiana mother, accused of leading police on a high-speed chase with her 5-year-old daughter on her lap is headed to trial.
Aubrey Coy's preliminary hearing was held Thursday in Centreville.
She is charged with more than a half-a-dozen felonies, including child endangerment.
Michigan State Police say the 34-year-old reached speeds of 75 miles per hour as she led troopers on a 5-mile chase back in April.
Police say she was high on cocaine at the time.
A trial date has not been set.
