Family Health Center holds 'Back to School Bash'
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - It was a fun, care-free night at the Family Health Center, in Kalamazoo, for its annual Back to School Bash.
The event features games, entertainment, free school supplies, and perhaps more importantly, health awareness.
Its main focus is immunizations and child wellness exams.
"It gives us the opportunity to make sure kids get their immunizations before they go back to school," said Family Health Centers CEO Denise Crawford.
Last year, Family Health Center helped immunize 1,600 children from low-income families.
The event ran until 6:00 p.m.
