Family, friends say final goodbye to Zoey Pesch
KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Sunday, family and friends said their final goodbye to a young West Michigan girl who lost her battle with leukemia.
10-year-old Zoey Pesch spent the last two years undergoing bone marrow transplants, multiple surgeries, transfusions, and chemotherapy.
Her friends and family say Zoey gained her wings last Saturday while on a medical transporter plane.
Her funeral was held Sunday morning at Life Story Funeral Home in Paw Paw.
There is also a fundraiser in Zoey's honor on July 26 at the Kalamazoo Growlers game.
A memorial fundraiser is also set up in Zoey's honor where you can donate to her parents and five siblings.
