DNR hosting fisheries workshop in South Haven Thursday
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - If you want to be "gone fishing" this summer, you can get a good look Thursday at what's there to catch.
The Michigan DNR is laying out their research about the fisheries of Lake Michigan in a presentation Thursday.
They're hosting a workshop to help anglers, charter captains, and community members.
They're focusing on fish population, along with angler data on native and invasive species.
It's happening at the South Haven Moose Lodge, on Wells Street, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday night.
The event is free, and open to the public.
