Deliberations to continue in Brown murder trial

CENTREVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A jury will pick back up its deliberations Friday in a St. Joseph County murder trial.

Andy Brown is accused of shooting his boss, David Locey, in their Sturgis accounting office in October.

Brown is charged with first-degree murder.

The big focus of the trial is conflicting evidence.

The prosecution says gunshot residue was found on Brown's clothes, while the defense points out a footprint found at the murder scene does not match Brown's shoes.

Newschannel 3 will be at the courthouse on verdict watch and will update you on air and online as soon as it happens.
