Cooley Law School affiliates with WMU
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Cooley Law School has changed its name. It will now be known as the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
The affiliation has been in the works for more than a year.
The school will now offer first-year law classes on WMU's Kalamazoo campus in the fall of 2015.
Faculty at both schools are also developing a law minor and a "3+3" program at WMU that will let students earn a bachelor's degree with a law degree in six years.
