Candlelight vigil to be held for unsolved murders in Calhoun Co.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Organizers will hold a candlelight vigil Friday night in honor of the 84-unsolved murders in Battle Creek and the rest of Calhoun County dating back to 1997.

The vigil is being put on by the organization FAME or Families Against Murder for Equal Justice.

It was founded by a woman named Bonnie Nunnally back in 1997 after her son was murdered.

The organization has been proactive in addressing the issue of unsolved homicides in the Battle Creek area for the past 13 years.

The vigil is at 6:00 at Maranatha Church of God in Battle Creek.
